CDA Project Entering Its 2nd Year
Last year BCCCRC launched the CDA Project in partnership with Baltimore City Community College. This partnership allowed for the participants in the CDA project to earn 6 college credits and the 90-hour Maryland Child Care Certificate while also working on the CDA requirements. We continue to offer this model with one difference – participants must apply for the Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund through the community college to pay tuition fees while BCCCRC will continue to pay the fee for the CDA application and provide the CDA books. For additional information on the CDA Project contact Nancy Pelton at

Child care providers participating in the Maryland Credential program may earn 1 professional activity unit for attending and participating in one of these meetings.
