Baltimore City Child Care Resource Center (BCCCRC), a program of Maryland Family Network, serves as the hub for issues relating to the care and education of young children in the City of Baltimore. BCCCRC is a private, non-profit organization, a member agency of the Maryland Child Care Resource Network, and serves parents, child care providers, the business community and others who are interested in early care and education. BCCCRC is committed to providing leadership and services to improve the quality, accessibility and affordability of child care in Baltimore City.

Attention Center Directors-Brown Bag Lunch Sessions
The schedule for the Brown Bag Lunch Series for Center Directors and Assistant Directors is as follows: January 15, March 5, and May 21. Meetings are held from 12: noon – 2: pm at 1001 Eastern Avenue, 2nd floor, Baltimore, MD 21202. Bring your lunch and join us for lively discussions.
Inclement Weather Policy
Please be aware that BCCCRC follows the Baltimore County Schools schedule for inclement weather closings or delays. If the Baltimore County Schools are closed, BCCCRC is closed and training classes will cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. If Baltimore County Schools open 2 hours late, BCCCRC will open at 9:30 am and any class scheduled for 9: am will be delayed to 9:30 am. If Baltimore County School close early due to weather related issues (i.e. snow, ice etc.) BCCCRC evening training classes will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
Child Care Center Accreditation Peer Support Meeting
Vanessa Jones, MSDE Assistant Branch Chief, Child Care Credentialing Branch, will be at BCCCRC on Tuesday, February 5, from 12: noon until 2: pm to update us on MSDE Accreditation and to answer questions. The Peer Support Group is open to center directors and involved staff from currently accredited centers as well as those in-process of becoming accredited. MSDE will be holding the BAS training for family child care providers at BCCCRC beginning February 12. Please call Nancy Pelton on extension 269 for information and registration.
BCCCRC'S Resource Room is available to child care professionals and community. The room is filled with materials including die-cuts, poster boards, felt material, and two laminators all available at a very nominal cost. Please call 410-685-5150, ext. 258 or 269 to set up your time to come in and use the Resource Room.
